Studio NYL, a dynamic structural engineering design practice based in Boulder,
provides unique national and international design talent. Julian Lineham,
originally from London, and Chris O’Hara, originally from New York, infuse
their extensive experience of Colorado’s building industry with their knowledge
of multiple global construction technologies and techniques. Their close
collaboration over the years has evolved into Studio NYL’s singular approach to
structural engineering services.

Julian and Chris share a passion for architecture that has led many of their
clients to compliment them as “architects specializing in structural engineering. ”
These engineers promote a collaborative, holistic view of structural design built
on an appreciation and knowledge of the complete building system including all
of its components. They offer an enhanced level of service from competition
stage through to building occupancy. Studio NYL believes strongly in open
communication and flexible working arrangements, which can include working
in a client’s office at critical stages from competition and conceptual phases
through to detailed design and construction coordination.
